Training
It is important to give your dog plenty of training and opportunities to socialize with other dogs. This is important for the health and wellbeing of your dog. This will prevent him from getting bored, and will also teach him new skills so that he doesn't become aggressive.
Socializing your dog will help your dog to understand that other dogs are not a threat, and they can in fact get on very well together. You should train your dog so that he can obey your commands.
When your dog is comfortable with meeting strangers then this should reduce the chances of him biting anyone. Most importantly you need to spend plenty of time with him, so that you can gain his trust and love.
Health
You also need to make sure that your dog is very healthy and happy. If your dog is healthy and happy then chances are he will not bite people. You should get your dog vaccinated on a regular basis, and also worm him.
Never Annoy Him
You should never wake your dog up, especially if he is in a deep sleep as this will make him very angry. If you do need him to wake up then stand at a distance and call him. You should make sure that you keep his bed located away from any noisy areas so that he doesn't get disturbed.
Strangers
It is important to give your dog plenty of opportunity to meet with strangers so that he can get used to it. However always make sure that you are there. Allow your dog to sniff strangers before they pat him so that he can get used to them not being a threat.
